WHAT'S THE ATMOSPHERE?
Our Gatherings are relevant to your life, laid back, and fun, so feel free to come and be yourself. You can dress casual, classy, or anywhere in between. The bottom line is, we want to get to know the real you.
WHAT HAPPENS AT SUNDAY GATHERINGS?
We will study the Bible and talk about Jesus. There will be times to sing, pray, and listen. Please feel free to participate at your pace — no pressure. There are no secret handshakes or hidden agendas. We just want people to find & follow Jesus. Our worship gatherings last approximately 70 minutes.
SOUNDCITY KIDS
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
Kids are important to us at Sound City Church. We have two activity groups - Sound City Babies welcomes those from Birth - 2 yrs. We will care for them in a safe nursery setting while you attend the gathering!
Sound City Kids is designed for kids ages Pre-K to 6th grade. Our goal every single week is to simply teach your child about God in a way that is so much fun that they will want to come back every Sunday. We have a fully staffed children’s experience that places a high value on safety, care, and purposeful fun! Our volunteers have designed a relevant encounter around biblical curriculum to challenge and inspire kids. Our team is dedicated to making your experience at SCC the best it can be for your whole family.
WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE LEARNING?
We design an innovative curriculum for kids based on our teaching series in our main worship gatherings. Parents and children are learning the same bible verses and themes and can talk about Sunday takeaways around the dinner table. We utilize a mixture of multimedia and activities to help our kids discover truths about God in ways that are appealing and understandable to them. Our goal every single week is to simply teach your child about God in a way that is so much fun! We want to do whatever it takes to help kids find new life in Jesus.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
LIFE IS NOT MEANT TO BE LIVED ALONE
In fact, it’s impossible to find fulfillment in life with the absence of meaningful relationships. We believe that it is essential that we share our lives with others as we strive to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe sustained life change happens best in the context of community.
WHAT DOES A COMMUNITY GROUP LOOK LIKE?
In COMMUNITY GROUPS, people get together to share a meal, study the Bible, and discuss the issues and challenges of life. A Community Group is made up of several people who meet together throughout the week in homes in our community. It involves spending time together and creating a setting in which we can tackle the tough questions and challenges of life. We hope you will find your community group to be a comfortable place where you can connect with and share life with like-minded people.
